Checking Out Books
To obtain a library card, bring proof of Delaware residency and a current picture ID to the library. First time library cards are free to Delaware residents. The annual fee for out-of-state residents is $25. The cost to replace a lost card is $2. Delaware library cards can be used in any public library in Delaware. Cards must be renewed annually at which time all outstanding fines must be paid.

Using Library Amenities
To use the library's public computers, you must have your own library card with outstanding debts of no more than $5 on your account. To print from the computer, the cost is $0.10 for each black and white page and $0.25 for each color page.

Photocopies are $0.10 each (black and white only). Fax service is $1. Notary service is $5. Scanning of documents is available free of charge

Copies of monthly programs are also available at the library or you can check out our event calendar online!
