To obtain a library card, bring proof of residency in Delaware along with a picture ID to the library. First time New Castle, Kent, and Sussex County library cards are free. The cost to replace a first-time lost card is $1 and $3 thereafter. Delaware library cards can be used in any Kent and Sussex County library, but not in New Castle.

Using Library Amenities
To use the library's public computers, you must have your own library card without an outstanding debt of $5.00 on the account. To print from the computer, copies are $0.10 each for black and white. For color copies, they are $0.25 each and limited to four.

The library has a black and white copier available for public use. Copies are $0.10 each.

The library does not have a public fax machine.

Copies of monthly programs are available at the library.
