Park Facility Reservation

George C. Wright Jr. Municipal Park

This is our largest park at just a little over 44 acres, At the north end of the park is a football field, parking lot, and bleachers. The middle section of the park hosts two softball fields with bleachers, open spaces with benches and tables, a new bathroom, two pavilions, the basketball court, and the playground. At the south end of the park is a gazebo, open spaces, the skate park, and War Memorial monuments.

The football field, softball fields, pavilions, gazebo, and open spaces are available to rent. Click HERE to view and print the reservation permit.

Special event requests have to be made through the Police Department. Click HERE for that application.

No drugs, no alcohol, no dee-jays, no puncturing of the ground for anchoring tents, etc., no bouncy houses. 

The football field and softball fields are available for individual and league reservations.

Fees are noted below. Payment can be made after the permit is approved by the Town and/or Police Department. 

Football and softball fields

  • 12 week league rental - $300
  • Non-league use - $50.00/occurrence
  • Non-league, non-resident, use - $75/occurrence
  • Lights - $50/hour (football and softball field 1 only)

Pavilions (2 benches, grill, and trash bin each)

  • Four-hour rental, resident - $25
  • Four-hour rental, non-resident - $40

Gazebo

  • Four-hour rental, resident - $50
    • with electric use - $100
  • Four-hour rental, non-resident - $75
    • with electric use - $125

Open Space 1 (north area) - shade area with picnic tables, between the pavilions and softball fields.

  • Hourly rental - $6.25
  • Four-hour rental - $25

Open Space 2 (south area) - open area between the playground and skate park, in front of the gazebo.

  • Hourly rental - $6.25
  • Four-hour rental $25

Lake Como

Located at 420 S. DuPont Blvd, right off S. Main St, this area offers space for fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, gazebos, and pavilions.

Pavilions 1, 2, and 3

  • Four-hour rental, resident - $25
  • Four-hour rental, non-resident - $40

Water and special events are based upon approval

  • Water event - $50/occurrence
  • Special event, resident - $75/occurrence
  • Special event, non-resident - $100/occurrence

Downtown Pocket Park

Our pocket park is located between 11 and 19 W. Commerce St. It's a quiet space that offers shade and benches.

Green Meadows Park

This park is located on the east side of Rt13, in the Green Meadows development, off N. Fairfield and Albright Drs. There is a small playground, new basketball court, and shade with picnic tables.

Sunnyside Park

This park is located on the west side of Rt13, in the Sunnyside development, off Liborio Ln and Dairy Dr. There is a small playground, a new basketball court, a gazebo with picnic tables, benches, trash cans, and a walking path.
