For customers who may be watering lawns, washing vehicles, or using large amounts of water, a second water meter may be purchased at Town Hall for $300. Customers with yard meters installed are only charged for the water that they use. Yard meters are not charged for sewer.
The water pipe enters the house and is split into two directions, one for all household usage and the other strictly for outside usage.
Once the yard meter is installed, please call 302-389-2322 to set up an appointment for the Town to calibrate the meter.
